Online collaboration

The video has been borken up into two different parts in order to allow the video to upload successfully.

Collaborating has been a tool that has been used to enhance the learning environment of the students that the teachers are working with. In most cases, this has been done face to face and not via the internet. In online learning communities the use of collaboration has been a key way to educate the students that are in the programs. With the use of the internet, it opens a new way to collaborate with other professionals. Teacher from different parts of the nation have different skills and tools that they use that can help other teachers. The internet is a new tool that can be used for this process.

  1. Robert,
The video was very informative and stated the key points of collaborating. Great job of getting your co-workers (team) to provide input in the video.

Good video, but why not include more of the teacher collaboration and the first graders, every now and again? You know, interspersing between your explanation. That would have been much better.
    Anyway, great job Robert.

  3. Robert, your video on online collaboration in a classroom environment was great. Have you had a chance to collaborate with your coworkers at a distance? Do you share assignments at a distance through the computer or other media?
I had a problem the watermark which distracted from your video, and I could not find part two. I would love to view the rest of your presentation.
    Cheers

  4. Robert,

Very informative video. I liked the practical example of collaborating with co-workers. Though this is something we should do often as educators, it does not always happen. Good job!

  5. Robert, Collaboration is an integral part of online learning as we are experiencing in our courses. I was originally going to choose this topic because I use cooperative learning a form of collaboration in my classroom.
I wondered about two things for your video presentation. First, I am not sure it is necessary to say what you are going to show. Maybe a title page or text written on the clip would have been more appropriate. Secondly, why are you using a watermarked video for your presentation? Did you have difficulty downloading free shareware? That is the beauty of today's technology. I too, was not able to access part 2 so I didn't see the end. Maybe you could let us know how to access part 2. Thanks
